The assessment for this group of students has been challenging. Allowing them to use digital media, and remain safe was the problem. After much thought I decided to get them to do the following:
1. Complete an application form to get an article published in the Gold Coast Bulletin
2. Write and submit an article (may or may not be published)
3. Using our Learning Management System, set up a pod named Twitter. Students are to twit four things about the school environment over a two week period (Breaking news).
4. Students will also complete a short presentation about both traditional and new media. Pro's and Con's
