I have set the pod up on our Learning Management System. Just waiting for the first topic to be added. We talked today about how to write a headline and the features that will draw an audience.
- Overview of the article
- Short in length
- Attention Grabbing
- Tone of the Article (shock, serious, humorous)
- Influence readers
We then talked about Alliteration (Four Fight Fires) and Puns (Blaze Fires Outrage) in headings.
It will be interesting to see what they come up with. The criteria for their discussion had to be based around the school community. Feel free to offer comments on things as we proceed on our journey.
