Twitter Challenge

The first challenge for our twitter discussion board has come about today.  A parent was concerned about what the students were saying. So we took this opportunity to provide a learning experience on the rights and wrongs of twitting, what you can and can't say. We discussed trolling and how that could affect others. Also about the person who started the post taking responsibility for the direction of the discussion, and redirecting when required. A big learning curve not only for the students but myself. However, the benefits of providing students with a safe environment to get this right and discuss the whys and why nots can't be ignored.
